Seen one of our signs on a lawn or boulevard? This page explains exactly what we applied nearby, how long to stay off the grass, and who to call with questions. Thanks for taking the time to check — that's what the sign is for.

Keep people and pets off treated grass until it is completely dry — and follow any longer period printed on the sign. We leave signs up for at least 48 hours.
Move toys, water bowls, and chew items off the lawn before re-entry. If skin or paws contact wet product, wash with soap and water.
Call 403-894-7057 or email info@vertexgrounds.ca and we'll tell you exactly what was applied at that location, and when.
Vertex Grounds Management posts a notification sign whenever we apply a pesticide or fertilizer to turf or landscaping in an area the public can access — lawns, boulevards, common areas, and commercial or municipal grounds. The sign shows the date of application. We leave signs in place for at least 48 hours after the application, as required in Alberta.
Depending on the property and the season, our programs may include:
Every pest control product we use is registered by Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) and carries a Pest Control Product (PCP) registration number. The product name, PCP number, label, and safety data sheet for anything applied at a specific location are available on request — call or email us with the address and the date shown on the sign.
If you or someone in your household is chemically sensitive and lives next to a property we service, we're happy to add you to our pre-notification list — we'll contact you before scheduled applications near your home. Email info@vertexgrounds.ca with your name, address, and preferred contact method, or call 403-894-7057.
This page is general information for residents and applies to routine turf and landscape applications by Vertex Grounds Management Inc. in Southern Alberta. The product label is the governing document for any specific application. If anything here conflicts with a product label or a direction from a regulator, the label and the regulator win.
